Apna Vidya Bhavan focuses on vocational training that encourages children ‘to be fit to fit everywhere’. 

Tribal way of life is about connecting with nature and mother earth. We want to ensure that our children do not loose their touch with the soil. Hence the school focuses on teaching the children vocations like farming, cultivation and other unique tribal skills like traditional knitting, weaving, bamboo crafts, etc. The Apnes are also trained in electrical and plumbing trades. Many of our students can repair solar lights. Flower gardening is so much fun for the Apnes.
